Tattoo Aftercare
Aftercare is crucial because a fresh tattoo is basically an open wound that also happens to be expensive artwork. Your skin has been punctured thousands of times, so it needs proper care to heal cleanly and protect the ink that’s been placed in it.

Good aftercare helps prevent infection, reduces scabbing and irritation, and keeps the colours and lines looking sharp instead of patchy or faded. Poor aftercare can lead to ink loss, blurry details, slow healing, or even permanent skin damage.

In simple terms: the tattoo artist does the work… but the healing process decides how good it looks for the rest of your life. Skin biology is doing the real finishing touches behind the scenes, and it only performs well when it’s looked after properly.
